2. What Data We Collect

  • — Newsletter & contact data. Name (if provided), email address, consent timestamp, and IP address at time of sign-up.
  • — Merchandise order data. When you place an order in the MegaProjects store, we collect your shipping address, phone number (for delivery), and the contents and status of your order.
  • — Merchandise payment data. Handled by Fourthwall (our merchandise storefront and fulfillment provider). Card details are processed by Fourthwall's payment processors and are not stored by us.
  • — Technical & usage data. IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, referrer URLs.
  • — Cookies. Essential cookies for site operation; optional analytics cookies (if consented).
  • — Communications & support. Messages, emails, or support requests you send us.

3. Fourthwall (Merchandise Store)

The MegaProjects store is operated through Fourthwall, Inc. When you make a purchase, Fourthwall processes your order, payment, and fulfillment information under its own privacy policy. We receive order-level data (items purchased, shipping address, order status) to fulfil contractual and support obligations.

4. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

We process your data because:

  • — Contractual necessity. To process merchandise orders and deliver goods you have purchased.
  • — Legitimate interests. To secure the Site, analyze usage, detect abuse or fraud, and improve the service.
  • — Legal obligations. For accounting, tax, and regulatory compliance.
  • — Consent. For newsletter sign-ups, optional analytics, and any marketing communications beyond order-related messages.

  • — Processing merchandise orders (via Fourthwall), including fulfillment, shipping, and post-purchase support.

6. Disclosure, Sharing & Transfers

  • — Fourthwall, Inc. Operates the MegaProjects merchandise store, processes orders, and handles fulfillment, shipping, and merchandise customer support on our behalf.
  • — Third-party service providers. Hosting, analytics, email delivery, caching, and support tools — all under data-processing agreements.
  • — Legal & regulatory authorities. If required by law or to enforce our rights.

Some providers operate outside the EEA. In such cases, we rely on EU Commission adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses to protect your personal data.

7. Data Retention

  • — Order & billing records. Retained for up to 10 years after the order, in line with applicable tax law.
  • — Newsletter sign-ups. Retained for as long as you remain subscribed, plus the period necessary to evidence your consent.
  • — Technical logs & analytics. Retained for up to 12 months, then anonymized where possible.
  • — Communications & support records. Kept as long as necessary to resolve issues or legal claims.

  • — Request erasure ("right to be forgotten") where no legal obligation requires retention.
